Video - Beyond Treason - Depleted uranium

Department of Defense documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act expose the horrific underworld of the disposable army mentality and the government funded experimentation upon US citizens conducted without their knowledge or consent.

UNMASKING SECRET MILITARY PROJECTS:
Chemical & Biological Exposures
Radioactive Poisoning
Mind Control Projects
Experimental Vaccines
Gulf War Illness
Depleted Uranium (DU)

Is the United States knowingly using a dangerous battlefield weapon banned by the United Nations because of its long-term effects on the local inhabitants and the environment? Explore the illegal worldwide sale and use of one of the deadliest weapons ever invented.

Was Gulf War Illness actually predicted by the DoD before hand?
Why are thousands of our men and women in uniform dying?
Why won't the mainstream media report this story?

Beyond the disclosure of black-ops projects spanning the past six decades, Beyond Treason also addresses the complex subject of Gulf War Illness. It includes interviews with experts, both civilian and military, who say that the government is hiding the truth from the public and they can prove it.

Video - BBC - Wifi

Britain is in the grip of a Wi-Fi revolution with offices, homes and classrooms going wireless - but there is concern the technology could carry health risks. The Government insists Wi-Fi is safe, but a Panorama investigation shows that radio frequency radiation levels in some schools are up to three times the level found in the main beam of intensity from mobile phone masts. Excellent Documentary clearly showing that there is a danger with radiation coming from wifi devices.

Video - The Call Of Life 'Facing The Mass Extinction' Trailer

The Call of Life 'Facing the Mass Extinction' is a video documentary produced by the Species Alliance and narrated by Peter Coyote; featuring a stellar list of scientists and researchers, that explores the significant and very real impact the actions of human beings are having on our living planet earth and our biodiversity. It's estimated half of all species of plants and animals living today will be extinct in less than 100 years. Biodiversity simply put is the measure of an 'ecosystem' or 'natural system' featuring (life-forms) plants, animals, and living microorganisms that are functioning and living together with the non living physical factors of the environment : A rainforest, coral reef, or a desert, are all examples of ecosystems; which when all put together is collectively known as the biodiversity of the earth.

The beautiful, incredible, and absolutely essential biodiversity of the earth is being threatened by the actions of human beings; such as de-forestation, pollution of the oceans, over-fishing, climate change, and selfish and ignorant actions by humans which are having devastating and irreversible effects on the environment. Such as 'drag' or 'bottom trawling' which removes entire marine ecological systems of coral reef on the ocean floor, which when removed will not come back; and because the devastating actions of human beings have significantly altered the earth's ecosystems, scientists are beginning to call it 'the mass extinction'   These critical issues facing our planet are a very serious cause for concern and if our apathy and selfish actions towards our living planet continues, who knows what could happen??? While the actions of governments and big business are critical to reversing the trend. It's also the small positive individual actions of all us which accumulates to one big positive change to our planet, such as not trashing our planet and showing respect for it. The earth's biodiversity is essential to our survival, yours and my home, and without it we're in big trouble.

Video - End Tiger Trade

More than 30 organisations, representing millions of people around the world, are calling upon the Chinese government to stand firm, to maintain its 14-year tiger trade ban, to close down tiger farms and to increase investment in stopping illegal tiger trade. Losing the wild tiger will be a shameful indictment on all of us. The success of our collective desire to save wild tigers depends on action. Tigers need the same kind of committed action that governments use when combating gunrunners and drug traffickers, for it is often the very same criminals that are smuggling tiger parts. Our lives are connected to the tiger, through culture, religion, and the ecosystems they live in that we depend upon. Don't close your eyes to what's happening. Ask your government ask China to make its tiger trade ban permanent.

End tiger trade !

Video - Toxic Textiles - Pesticides drench most cotton products

Toxic Textiles? Are the sales personnel of Germany's clothing retailers at risk of being poisoned? The textiles they sell are contaminated with highly toxic chemicals. The chemical PCP (Pentachlorophenol), which is prohibited in Germany, is applied to garments to protect them during transport to Europe. Other hazardous pesticides used in the cultivation of cotton in Asia have also been found in textiles. A camera crew picks up the trail in India, following the toxic garments on their way to Germany. It shows people exhibiting neurologic symptoms, as we speak, from exposure to banned pesticides, illegally used in poor countries, in the cut throat pursuit for market share of the world's textile markets. Don't miss it. [Deutsche Welle TV]

Is Genetic Genealogy Potentially Dangerous?

Is the current popularity of genetic genealogy something we need to be concerned about? Can our quest for genetic ancestry and the possible cousinship that comes with it be dangerous to our well-being, if not our health? A friend of mine just happens to work for a major drug manufacturer. She decrys the current genealogy DNA testing as a major danger and is very vocal about it. Her concern is that the data will eventually be purchased by the insurance companies - and those with "weak genes" won't be able to get insurance at any price. Others voice other concerns.
